Our Purpose

Empowering Teens for Life...To Believe, to Achieve...

The Greatness Beyond Measure is designed to help teens and young adults realize their maximum potential: academically, socially and artistically. In the mist of mandatory sentencing, declining budgets for social services, and strenuous economy, we MUST continue to perpetuate creative and engaging activities that are geared toward the development and growth of our future America. Our teens become adults, parents, and our workforce. To have better families and communities we have to focus on the genius that resides within every individual.

What is the Greatness Beyond Measure?

The Greatness Beyond Measure, affectionately referred to as “GBM”, was established in 2008 as a movement to ignite a spirit of Excellence and Greatness among teens and young adults while empowering them to identify and cultivate the Genius within.

GBM endeavors to create and promote rewarding opportunities that foster growth and maturity in the lives of the young, talented and gifted.  The GBM Teen Summit creates an enriching environment and atmosphere that encourages Academic Enhancement, Self-Empowerment and Entrepreneurial Development.

GBM strives to provide a POSITIVE platform for aspiring teen artists, musicians, poets, dancers, debaters, teen entrepreneurs and others to showcase their creative gifts and talents by providing an array of WHOLESOME events and activities.

GBM Geographic Radius/Spread

According to the GBM zip code database, the summit serves a broad range of teens and young adults throughout Florida, from Miami to Tallahassee, and even out of state areas like Chicago, Missouri and Massachusetts. Participants represent a wide spread of racial, economic, and academic diversity. The database also illustrates that a large percentage of the minority teens who attend the GBM Summit come from low-income & under-served neighborhoods, as well as single – parent homes.
